Happy launch day and welcome to the new www.morgatize.com
It’s launch day! Hello and welcome to my (new!) little home on the interwebs. Whether you are new to Morgatize or one of the many who have faithfully supported me through the years, it’s so great to have you here.
At a fresh new beginning, isn't it funny how we find ourselves looking back?
With this launch, I thought of the countless others that I’ve been a part of. Oh, the hours put into building program launches, catalog launches, site launches, product launches, brand launches... Back when I worked on a corporate marketing management team, we would dedicate board room meetings and full-on multi-day sessions to get big ideas down on paper. We’d work through beautifully primed production calendars to make sure every "i" was dotted and "t" was crossed.
These days, as a freelancer nearly a decade later, I’ll be honest… things aren’t as fancy-smancy. Big ideas and plans usually click together somewhere between my desk, jumping out for a kiddo's school pickup, syncing up on a virtual meet, and breathing into a downward dog. The point is, I’ve been doing this long enough to know I genuinely love the creative process, no matter where it takes place. That matters because when we believe in what we do – and we’re good at it - it shows up 10x over in the work we put out into the world.
As a brand designer and photographer, I get to be my clients’ biggest cheerleader. From behind the lens, I thrive on capturing their *real* smiles and the little details that (when shared) attract the people who need them most. From my design desk, I get to create that exact look and feel they want their business to show up with, even if they didn’t have the words to express what that should be in the first place. The client transformation that happens along the way never gets old. It’s why I love what I do.
Today though, things are a little different. I flipped the side of the coin. I’m stepping in front of the lens, instead of behind it. I’m putting my own business out there, instead of supporting another. Does it feel uncomfortable?! You guys, I've built a career from standing behind the scenes. YOU BET it does! But, you want to know what? I’m also really proud. I’m super proud to be in a place that I feel so at home with where Morgatize is and what it has to offer. I’m compelled to show up, do the work, and put myself out there because when I do, I’ll be able to help more of YOU do it too. For me, that’s what this work is really all about.
So, happy (new!) www.morgatize.com launch day! This digital home of mine has gone through a mega design overhaul and rebuild to show up for you today. Go on over to the homepage to check her out and be sure to opt-in to the mailing list if you’d like to join the ride for more. If you're interested in working together, I can't wait to hear from you.
Cheers to today,
P.S. Stay safe and well 😊
